Death Stranding Will Come to PC In 2020, Kojima Productions Confirms
Death Stranding will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive when it launches on the 8th November 2019, but it won’t be tied to Sony’s console forever. Developer Kojima Productions has confirmed that the mysterious open world title will launch on PC in the “early summer” of 2020. It’ll be published by 505 Games.
The news doesn’t come as a huge shock since speculation of an eventual PC version has been rife for ages. There have been rumours, supposed leaks, and more over the last 12 months or so. At least we know for sure now.
Thanks to all of you who have been supporting #DEATHSTRANDING!

Of course, Death Stranding isn’t the first “PlayStation exclusive” to leave the console after a specific length of time. Detroit: Become Human jumped to PC earlier this year, and indie darling Journey arrived on PC back in June. The bottom line is that Sony doesn’t have an iron grip on titles that aren’t crafted by its first party studios. It’s also worth pointing out that you can stream loads of PlayStation titles on PC through PlayStation Now.
