God of War Laufey – PlayStation 5

God of War Laufey™ – a new chapter in the legendary saga

Death was meant to be the end, but for Laufey (Faye), Kratos’ wife and Atreus’ mother, it marks the beginning of an entirely new journey. Awakening in the mysterious Everywhen, Faye discovers that the plans she made to protect her family are in danger.

Enter the afterlife of the gods, where powerful beings from different mythologies fight for control over a world filled with dangerous magic. As Faye searches for a way home, she must uncover the secrets of Everywhen and face enemies unlike anything she encountered in the Nine Realms.

Play as Faye, the legendary Jötnar warrior

Take control of Laufey and experience her story firsthand. Faye is a formidable fighter whose legendary combat skills once allowed her to challenge even the mightiest Aesir. In Everywhen, she will need every ounce of her speed, precision and determination to survive.

Explore the Everywhen

Discover a vast afterlife where gods from different mythologies compete for power. Strange beauty and unpredictable dangers await around every corner, while hidden mysteries hold the key to Faye’s journey home.

Fierce combat and Jötnar magic

Faye wields a powerful new sword, building momentum between attacks to unleash fast and relentless combinations. Harness devastating Jötnar magic to strike directly at the essence of your enemies, tear soul from body and create powerful combat combos.

The game combines the brutal, intimate combat style of modern God of War with the fast mobility of the classic Greek saga, creating a combat experience that feels both fresh and familiar.

Two powerful companions

Faye’s journey is shared by Rue and Phranque. Rue is an enchanted set of ribbons entrusted with guarding Faye’s sword and its immense power. Phranque is a determined cosmic cube with deep connections to the Everywhen, dedicated to protecting his home and its inhabitants.

God of War Laufey launches on PlayStation®5 consoles on February 16, 2027.
